Hello!

Welcome to my blog. I document my meditations on various questions about life, love, truth, faith, God and others in between. I hope you will discover a message in here that prompts you to find and cherish that voice within that stays looking out for you.

Regret

Regret

Regret

A strong flavour of slumber

Sleep, she says

Sleep so that you do not have to move forward

Sleep so that you can keep feeling

Bad

Shameful

Apologetic

Regretful

And so in regret

You sleep

Sailing on the waters of fear

Moving further and further away

From the shores of your desire

Her waves rocking you

Back and forth

Back and forth

Back in time

And when you finally fall asleep

With Regret

She flips the switch

Rages a storm

In your head

So that no longer can you think clearly

Or move forward

Or focus

You are in a storm

And you can’t see the shoreline

Regret

So deceptive in her warmth

So creative in her imagination

If only this

Or that

She holds captive

Your time

So that when you wake up

From your trance

You realize

Regret,

She has taken you

Nowhere
